At the WebX2025 Blockchain Conference in Tokyo, we unexpectedly met the CEO of Envo, one of the fastest-rising names in Web3 social platforms. Over the past year, Envo has been making headlines worldwide — from Dubai to Southeast Asia, and now Japan — with a steady stream of product rollouts and an ever-expanding user base. We took the opportunity to sit down for a quick yet insightful conversation with the man steering Envo’s vision.

Q1: Envo has become one of the hottest Web3 platforms this year, constantly rolling out new features and onboarding new users. It feels like a train that never stops. What keeps Envo moving forward with such momentum?

Envo CEO:
The Web3 industry has suffered a lot from projects that “take the money and run,” damaging its reputation. For many ordinary people, words like blockchain or Web3 still sound like scams.

What drives us forward is the opposite mindset: we want to use blockchain technology to protect user privacy, create fair business scenarios, and ensure that the value generated on the platform returns to the users themselves. This sincerity and commitment are what keep pushing us onward.

Q2: We’ve seen Envo making appearances across multiple markets — Dubai, Thailand, Malaysia, and now Japan. Where will Envo head next?

Envo CEO:
Right now, Hong Kong and Japan are the hotspots for Web3 traffic, so my presence here is simply going with the flow. That said, our team is indeed running campaigns here in Japan.

As for the “next stop,” it’s not so much a single country. At this very moment, we’re already expanding across Japan, Korea, the Philippines, Vietnam, and even several African markets. Eventually, once we secure regulatory licenses across jurisdictions, you will also see Envo spreading across Europe and the United States. In our view, every place in the world can be an Envo destination.

Q3: Envo has already launched a wide range of features this year, and Q4 is around the corner. What will be your focus for the rest of the year?

Envo CEO:
At this point, no Web3 application offers as broad a set of functions as we do. From being relatively unknown last year to stepping into the spotlight this year, we’ve gone through several major transformations. I believe it’s time to shift gears and accelerate value creation.

Our Q4 priority is to accelerate DND token burns. We’re about to launch a voting mechanism, where voting power will be weighted based on each user’s profile and on-platform activity. This ensures fair and transparent governance. We’ll also publish a series of proposals tied to DND burns — and ultimately, whether they are executed will depend entirely on our community of users.

Q4: Speaking of DND burns, we haven’t seen much token burning activity on-chain. Could you clarify the current status?

Envo CEO:
We publish weekly reports inside the platform showing token burn volumes across our major modules. So if you follow our ecosystem closely, you’ll know roughly what’s being burned each week.

That said, on-chain burning can’t happen constantly in real time. Instead, we plan to announce the total annual burn volume by the end of this year and execute a consolidated on-chain burn at that time. This way it’s both transparent and efficient.

Q5: Could you give us a glimpse of upcoming features beyond what’s already on your roadmap?

Envo CEO:
Yes, we have a roadmap, but I don’t believe in following it 100%. A platform must respond flexibly to market trends and user needs.

Looking ahead, we’ll gradually introduce new modules across AI, gaming, and financial services. At the same time, many of our existing features will continue to be refined. Envo isn’t just about piling up features — it’s about making sure every feature adds value to the user experience. I hope you’ll keep following our journey.

Closing Thoughts

From Singapore to Dubai, and now Tokyo, Envo’s global expansion has been nothing short of rapid. But more than market expansion, what sets Envo apart is its commitment to turning Web3 promises into real, tangible user experiences.

This exclusive conversation at WebX2025 revealed a platform not only rich in features but also deeply rooted in value creation, transparency, and user-centric governance. As Envo pushes forward with its DND burn initiatives and prepares to launch new modules across AI, gaming, and finance, it is clear that this platform is well-positioned to set new standards in the Web3 social space.
